Emergency services were called to the College Street car park, which leads into the train station, and sealed off the premises. Police refused to disclose any information about the circumstances of the death, stating that the next of kin had not been informed. A police spokeswoman said: “We were called to the College Street car park at 5am. “The death is being treated as unexplained. “A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.” It is understood there were no suspicious circumstances behind the death. The College Street car park was reopened to members of the public at around 9.45am.
