Lifeboat crews have completed their search of the River Dee in Aberdeen following the report of a missing man.
The Coastguard was called this morning to look for the man, who is in his 50s, was seen near the Salmon Bothy near Riverside Drive last night. A police helicopter has also joined the operation.
CCTV images have now been released to try and locate the man.
Sergeant Emily Hesp said: “It has been several hours since this man was last seen and we have concerns for his safety. We want to establish where he has gone and, most importantly, that he is safe and well.
“I would urge anyone who has spotted a person fitting his description to contact police as a matter of urgency. I would also urge anyone who knows who he is to get in touch – any information at all could assist with our inquiries.
“Likewise, I would also appeal for this man to contact us to let us know he is OK.”

A Coastguard spokesman said: “We have completed an extensive search and are now assessing further options.”
