Search crews have been stood down for the day after lifeboats and a police helicopter were called to look a for a missing man in Aberdeen.
A concerned member of the public contacted the emergency services after seeing him near the Salmon Bothy on the banks of the River Dee shortly before 11pm on Friday night.
Two lifeboats and three Coastguard search crews were involved in the search on the river.
CCTV pictures of the man, who is in his 50s, have been released in an attempt to locate him. He visited Asda in Garthdee about an hour before he was seen at the river. At the time he was wearing blue jeans and a dark waterproof jacket.
A police spokesman said: “Further enquiries are being done overnight with a view to perhaps carrying out further searches tomorrow.”
A Coastguard spokesman said: “We have been assisting the police in the search for a missing person.”
