Man arrested in connection with Aberdeen death almost 40 years ago

A man has been arrested in connection with death which happened 38 years ago in Aberdeen.

Kazi Ahmad’s body was found in his flat on Rosemount Viaduct in October 1978.

He was well known locally as the manager of the Raj Dulal restaurant on Dee Street.

A 62-year-old man has been arrested in the Birmingham area and is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
