Police cordoned off a large area of football pitches next to Mrs Murray's Cat and Dog Home
A section of a football pitch in Aberdeen has been cordoned off after a suspect object was found there earlier this evening.
Emergency services were called to the pitch near Golf Road in Seaton after the device was found and the Explosives Ordnance Division has now sealed it off to carry out investigations.
A police spokesman said: “There is no wider threat to the public at this stage.”
