Firefighters called to Aberdeen Uni blaze

Firefighters were called out to a blaze on the Aberdeen University campus this morning.

Two appliances were sent to the Meston building at around 10.05am to tackle a “small fire” that had broke out.

Firefighters spent around 25 minutes fighting the blaze before returning to base.

There were no injuries and damage is thought to be “minimal”.
