Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a “serious” crash on the A90 this morning.
Police, fire crews and the Scottish Ambulance Service are in attendance after being called to the crash between two vans on the A90 outside Hatton at 10.45am.
Fire crews are working to free two men trapped in their vehicles.
Police have closed the road in both directions as the incident is dealt with.
A total of three fire appliances have been sent- one from Ellon and two from Peterhead.
A fire service spokesman said: “There are two men trapped.”
Update: A police spokeswoman said: “Two people have been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.”
