Fire crews have put out a blaze at a former shop in Aberdeen city centre.
Six appliances and 28 firefighters were called to the incident near to the former GAP store on St Nicholas Street in the city centre.
The fire was contained to one room and crews managed to put it out in just under an hour.
Station manager Gordon Riddel said: “We were called to a fire on the third floor of the former gap building.
It was reported to us by workers who had been using welding torches.
We were faced with heavy smoke.
We used 8 breathing apparatus, a hosereel jet and thermal imaging to locate identity and extinguish the fire.
It was contained to one room and it was out in 45mins to an hour.”
