Three people were injured after a two-car crash in Aberdeenshire earlier today.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the B9170 following reports that a grey Ford Focus and a grey Range Rover had collided near the Haddo House Hotel.
Police cars, fire crews and an ambulance made their way to the scene and closed the road for a number of hours.
The fire service sent two appliances from Inverurie and Oldmeldrum, but everyone in the crushed vehicles had escaped before they needed to be cut out.
Firefighters stayed on the scene to ensure the vehicles were safe.
No one is thought to have been seriously injured in the collision, but police said there were three casualties.
The road was blocked for a number of hours while officers carried out their investigations, only reopening at 2.30pm.
A police spokeswoman said: “Nobody was seriously injured, but there was fuel on the road, so we had to close it. “
A spokeswoman for the fire service subsequently added: “We made the vehicles safe.”
