A cyclist has been taken to hospital following a collision with a car on Great Northern Road in Aberdeen.
The incident, which is understood to have involved a Vauxhall Astra, happened at around 5.15pm in the Kittybrewster area.
The injuries sustained by male cyclist are not understood to be life threatening and the road is not closed. Police and paramedics attended the scene.
A spokesman for the police said: “It involved a car and a cyclist. We got a call at 5.16pm. The injuries are non-life-threatening but he has been taken to hospital.”
A witness at the scene added she had seen the cyclist “lying in the road”.
