Three people have appeared in court charged with attempted murder.
Mathew Donaldson and Ashley Duncan, both 21, and Lee Hutchison, 28, were arrested following a disturbance in the Kincorth area of Aberdeen on Sunday.
Yesterday all three appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court charged with attempted murder.
Hutchison was also charged with being in possession of a controlled drug.
All of the accused, from Aberdeen, made no plea to the charges against them and were remanded in custody.
They are expected to appear in court again next week.
Last night a spokesman for the Crown Office said they had also received a report in connection with a 21-year-old woman in relation to the incident.
She was released from custody and did not appear in court. The case remains live against her.
It is understood police were called to an address in Kincorth following a disturbance at around 2.30am on Sunday.
Officers have since been stationed at a property on the corner of Aldern Lane and Cairngorm Drive.
Last night police confirmed that a 26-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the incident and said he remains in a “stable condition”.
Inquiries are ongoing.
