Police are hunting for a man who attacked a woman in Aberdeen city centre at the weekend.
The 28-year-old suffered minor injuries in the incident, which happened between 3.30am and 4am on St Andrew’s Street on Sunday.
Police are also keen to trace to a man and a woman who were out walking a dog at the time, who they believe may have spoken to the woman after the attack.
Detective Sergeant Karen Main said: “I would appeal for anyone who was in this area around this time to please contact police as a matter of urgency – any information at all may be of assistance as we piece together what happened.
“In particular we would like to speak to a male and female who were out walking a dog that morning in the area.
“It is understood they spoke to the female after the incident in question and they may have valuable information that could help with our inquiries.”
