Presidential hopeful Donald Trump has revealed he will visit Aberdeen after opening a new golf course in Scotland this month.
The American billionaire is set to officially open the new Trump Turnberry course in Ayrshire on June 24.
But the controversial politician has announced he will also make a trip to Trump International Golf Links during his Scottish visit.
On Friday, he tweeted to his 8.6million followers: “After Trump Turnberry I will be visiting Aberdeen, the oil capital of Europe, to see my great club, Trump International Golf Links.”
Mr Trump will also visit Trump Doonberg in Ireland before returning to the US to continue his presidential race.
The Turnberry hotel, which Trump bought in 2014 for £35m, opened to guests on Wednesday.
It features a £3,500-a-night presidential suite and, from August, the Donald J Trump ballroom – “the most luxurious meeting facility anywhere in Europe”, according to his publicists.
