The funeral of a north-east cricket captain who died after collapsing during a match will take place this week.
Kenneth MacLeod was playing for Inverurie Cricket Club against Crathie at Balmoral last weekend when he took ill.
Surrounding players rushed to help him but were unable to revive the 52-year-old.
Mr MacLeod was a “much loved” husband of Alison, “dearly loved” dad of Ross and Kirsty, “dear son” of Ellen and “loving brother, brother-in-law and uncle”.#
His funeral will take place at Aberdeen Crematorium on Wednesday at 1.35pm. All friends are welcome.
