Police have recovered a car which was used by thieves to drive away after breaking into a shop in Aberdeen earlier this week.
The Spar shop on North Deeside Road was targeted on Tuesday morning at around 2.15am after a window was smashed in.
Police are looking for two males but have traced the black Audi Q5 which they were driving.
The car, which was found in Bucksburn, had previously been stolen from outside a property in the Ury Meadows area of Inverurie.
Detective Constable Emma Low, who is investigating, said: “We are following several positive lines of inquiry following the collection and viewing of CCTV footage, house to house inquiries and forensic examinations, however I would still urge anyone with any information that could help to come forward. In particular anyone who spotted an Audi matching the description in the hours before it was recovered should also get in touch.
“I would like to thank members of the public and the media who have assisted with this investigation so far.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact Police on 101.
