Police are investigating after a number of cars and windows on buildings were smashed by stones on Kemnay’s Victoria Terrace and Kendal Road.
Officers calculated the damage caused amounted to between £5,000 and £10,000.

She added: “Efforts are being made to provide things for young people to do in Kemnay. There is quite a lot to do.
“But youngsters are a bit stuck there, the bus services to Inverurie are not great and youngsters are very dependent on getting lifts to places. I am very disappointed.”
A police spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland has appealed for witnesses following several vandalisms in the Kemnay area which have resulted in damage worth a high four-figure sum of money.
“The incidents took place at several buildings within the Victoria Road and Kendal Road area in Kemnay between 1 and 3am on Sunday, June 12.
