Motorists in Aberdeen have been warned that roads in the city may flood this evening as a result of the heavy rain.
The road between Chapel of Stoneywood and Newton Kirkhill, which runs behind the Marhsall Trailers into Dyce Drive, has already closed in both directions and diversions have been put in place.
As well as this one lane on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverurie road has also been closed in a southbound direction.
Motorists in the city have been warned that Riverside Drive may flood near the site of Bon Accord Glass and the Culter Burn may also come out of its channel.
Aberdeen City Council has delivered sandbags to the Millside and Paddock areas of Peterculter as a precaution.
Staff will continue to monitor the situation.
