VIDEO: Boris Johnson describes P&J deputy editor as ‘his mentor’

Boris Johnson has described the Press and Journal’s deputy editor David Knight as his “mentor” during the early days of his career.

The leading Leave campaigner was speaking yesterday while on a tour of the Express & Star newspaper offices in Wolverhampton.

Mr Johnson served as a trainee journalist at the newspaper under Mr Knight’s tutelage after leaving university.
