Plane makes emergency landing in Aberdeenshire

A light aircraft had made an emergency landing outside Alford this evening.

Emergency services were called at 8.25pm and police and fire services are both in attendance.

The aircraft landed in an emergency landing half a mile north west of the Guise of Touch on a private landing strip.

The plane had one pilot and passenger in it at the time and both have left the plane without injuries.

A police spokesman said: “We were called at 8.25pm after a light aircraft made an emergency landing.

“There were no injuries as result.”
