Police have appealed for witnesses after windows were smashed in an act of vandalism at a Peterhead home.
According to detectives, “heavy objects” were thrown at the window of a house in the Captain Gray Place area of the town at around 9pm on Sunday, June 26 causing it to smash.
Detective Constable Richard Cooper from the Fraserburgh CID Pro-Active department said: “This was a frightening incident for the occupants of the property and has caused them a considerable amount of distress.
“This incident happened in a built up residential area and I would urge anyone who would have seen anyone or any vehicle acting suspiciously in the area at or around this time to contact myself.”
DC Cooper said his team is looking to identify anyone “who were seen to run away from the area just after the incident took place”.’
