Emergency services were called just before 2pm following reports of a crash. The fire service has sent two appliances to the scene and one person is trapped inside a vehicle. Diversions are in place through Inverurie. A fire service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 1.54pm following a crash between a car and a large good vehicle. “One person is trapped inside a vehicle.” A police spokesman added: “The road is closed in both directions.” Update: A woman in her forties has been transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries following the crash. An ambulance spokesman confirmed they were “not life-threatening.”
