Police are appealing for witnesses after a man dressed in high-visibility clothing was seriously assaulted in Aberdeen city centre.
The incident happened at around 9.30pm on Saturday, June 19, near Holburn Pharmacy on Holburn Street.
The 47-year-old man was left with head injuries following the attack.
Investigating Officer Constable Kevin Souter, of the Divisional Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit, said: “This incident has resulted in a man sustaining a head injury.
“Assaults of this nature can have a significant impact on the life of not only the victim but their family as well.
“It is believed the area would have been highly populated at the time and we are appealing to members of the public to assist us with our enquiries into how this man came to be assaulted.
“I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward and contact the police.”
