A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged crime spree in the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen.
Police Scotland said the 23-year-old had been charged with a catalogue of crimes including stealing from five cars and breaking into four homes.
He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Detective Chief Inspector Kevin Walker said: “I would like to thank the members of the public who provided us with invaluable assistance and information throughout these inquiries.
“I must also take this chance to remind people to always keep your valuables safe, secure and out of sight, and to ensure your homes, garages, sheds and vehicles are always locked.
“All it can take is a few seconds for someone to try the door to your home or vehicle, find that it’s unlocked, and get away with your possessions.”
He urged anyone with concerns about crime in their area to contact police on 101.
