Man, 60, found dead in Aberdeen home

A 60-year-old man has been found dead in his Aberdeen home.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the sudden death after he was found at his home in Gairn Terrace.

Officers are not currently treating the death as suspicious.

Emergency services were called to the property after receiving a call at around 8pm last night.

Police remained in the area this morning while further investigations were carried out.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At 8pm we were called to a sudden death involving a 60-year-old man.

“There is nothing to indicate anything suspicious.”

He added: “As with all deaths, an investigation will be carried out.”
