Marks & Spencer is among the big names poised to help bring a city retail park to full capacity by next year.
A new M&S Simply Food, a Costa coffee drive-through and branches of CarpetRight, Pets at Home and Home Bargains will all open at the Bridge of Don complex in 2017.
The retail park will also be refurbished, with work expected to be completed in spring.
B&Q will remain at the site and has renewed its lease.
David Stewart, fund manager of retail park owner Standard Life Investments Pooled Pension Property Fund, said: “It is great to see Bridge of Don attracting some of the UK’s best retail brands such as M&S and Costa to expand their presence in Aberdeen.
“Couple this with the refurbishment and B&Q’s recent extended commitment, it is set to offer our customers a much improved retail offer.”
Bridge of Don Councillor Willie Young also hailed the news as positive for the city and a sign that Aberdeen is “doing very well for itself”.
He said: “This is a very positive thing for the Bridge of Don, M&S and Costa are very popular outlets which will be used by people not just from the direct area but from across the city.
“It also tells us that if the likes of these huge retailers are still prepared to invest in Aberdeen, that Aberdeen is doing very well for itself.
“No disrespect to what was there before, but the likes of M&S and Costa will all help the area and that’s important in these times.
“These retailers have chosen to invest here, so despite the doom and gloom which is going about in the city, this is great for the Bridge of Don and great for the city and tells us people and businesses still want to invest in Aberdeen.”
