One lane of the A90 has been closed to traffic travelling southbound from Stonehaven after the incident earlier today. The vehicle is understood to have caught fire in the Mill O’Forest layby. Fire Crews were first called to the scene at around 8.20am this morning and the fire has now been extinguished. Police also attended the incident and helped to control traffic in the area while the fire was put out. A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We received the call to assist so that the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service could carry out their work. “The fire has now been extinguished and the owner of the vehicle has arranged recovery. “There were no injuries reported.”
