Fire crews were called to a blaze at a north-eat nightclub late last night.
The fire broke out at Zee’s nightclub on Stonehaven’s Barclay Street at around 11.15pm,
Five fire crews, two from Stonehaven, one from Inverbervie, one from Laurencekirk and one from Aberdeen, were called to tackle the blaze.
The fire was under control by 12.30am today.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the club was closed at the time of the fire and an investigation would be launched today to determine the cause.
They added: “We will be investigating this but at the moment it’s hard to say what caused the fire.”
