The collision took place in the Balmedie area at about 5.50pm and involved a grey Nissan Coupe. Police have said the driver then “took off on three wheels” before officers traced him nearby a short time later. The motorist is “helping police with their inquiries”. Meanwhile, officers are also at the scene of a two-car smash just outside Peterhead. The crash, between a blue Ford Fiesta and a white Dacia, occurred at 6.40pm on the A90 Aberdeen to Fraserburgh road, towards Hatton. No one has been injured in the collision, but the vehicles are blocking the road.
