An Aberdeenshire village has secured enough funds to repair their steeple badly damaged in Storm Frank.
Insch Parish Church has hosted various fundraising events to help cover the cost, while the remaining £20,000 came from donations.
The most recent fundraiser was held at the weekend, when locals opened up their gardens to visitors.
The garden trail attracted visitors from Aberdeen, Fetternear, Inverurie, Rothienorman and even the Borders, and helped raise well over £1,000.
And yesterday it was confirmed that the full £36,000 has now been raised in order to carry out the repairs.
Rev Dr Kay Gauld said: “We think there must have been over 150 people attend the event and raised £1,400 which we are absolutely delighted about.
“There are four parishes here and the cause has certainly brought people together. From all the events we have raised close to £16,000 and then from donations we have raised the final amount.
“People were very hospitable opening up their gardens and they were certainly enjoyed by all who visited.”
Work is currently underway on the spire.
The minister added: “I’m over the moon at the support we have received from the community. I am very fortunate to have a very hard working congregation, but also members of the community and further afield have joined together to help us rebuild the spire.”
