A group of football fans charged in connection with an alleged fight after a Europa match have had their court appearance delayed.
Sixteen men were expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday, in connection with a disturbance after the Dons’ Uefa Europa League clash with Maribor at Pittodrie on Thursday.
But the case has been knocked back, and will now call on August 25.
On Friday, police swooped on the Holiday Inn Express on Chapel Street, Aberdeen.
The raid happened just hours after officers were called to reports of a disturbance on the street.
Police previously said 13 of those charged were from Eastern Europe, while the other three men are local. They are all aged between 19-41.
