Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist them in their inquiries. He is described as being in his mid twenties, 6ft tall with a heavy build and medium length ginger hair. He was wearing a light blue polo shirt and jeans. Investigating Officer Constable Stuart Hache said the attack would have a “significant impact” on the victim. He said: “This was an unprovoked attack resulting in the male sustaining a serious injury to his mouth. “Assaults of this nature have a significant impact on the life of the victim. “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the male pictured or has any knowledge of this incident to come forward and contact the police.” Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
