Police are investigating after a tractor was set on fire near Huntly.
The John Deere tractor was found ablaze at a farm in Drumblade on July 30 at about 5am.
It had previously been stolen from the Blairgowrie area.
The incident is being treated as suspicious.
No one was injured as a result, but the tractor was extensively damaged. Nearby buildings also suffered minor damage.
Constable Hamish Wallace said: “This tractor was stolen from the Blairgowrie area on July 24 and we would like to speak to anyone who has information regarding the fire or who saw the tractor parked at the farm in the days prior to the fire.
“We are also particularly keen to trace the occupants of a silver people carrier type vehicle seen in the area at the time.”
Anyone with information should call 101.
