June Filby, from Pitmedden, has sold her creations at local events, school fairs and her church cafe for the last four years. The 74-year-old raised the money for Speur-Ghlan, an early intervention autism charity, which was set up in Bridge of Allan by her daughter Ruth. Mrs Filby has relied on support from her husband Tony who encouraged her and gave her the time to spend hours knitting.
