Coastguard teams have been dispatched to help a man who has fallen near rocks on the Banffshire coastline.
The incident happened around two miles west of the village of Rosehearty.
Coastguard cliff teams are on the scene and a helicopter may be dispatched to help move the casualty.
A spokeswoman for the coastguard said: “We’re dealing with a person who has fallen. There are coastguard teams in the area. An aircraft may be called to assist.”
The extent of the man’s injuries are not yet known although they are not thought to be life-threatening.
