Two men have appeared in court after cannabis plants potentially worth £400,000 were seized by police.
Officers made the finds while raiding three properties in Aberdeen between Friday and Tuesday.
Mariglen Celaj, 25, and 28-year-old Fatos Ilazaj appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Both men face three charges each relating to the procession and supply of drugs.
Neither of the men, whose general addresses in court papers were listed as London, made a plea.
The pair were both released on bail.
Police said they had obtained warrants and searched homes in View Terrace in Rosemount, Seaton Walk in Seaton and Bedford Avenue in Kittybrewster in recent days.
Between the three properties, there were “hundreds” of plants – and estimated they could have fetched a maximum street value of £400,000.
Detective Sergeant Scott McKay said: “We are committed to detecting and disrupting those involved in the supply and production of drugs within the north-east.
“These seizures highlight our continuing efforts to disrupt supply routes and protect those in our communities affected by the illicit drug trade.
“We rely on the support of the public to build intelligence on drug-related issues so that we can act on their concerns.
“I would urge anyone who is aware of any information about the supply of drugs to report the matter to police on 101, or anonymously to Crimestoppers.”
