Drivers with vehicles parked in a busy Aberdeen road have been warned to move them as soon as possible over concerns for flooding.
The River Dee is expected to burst its banks into Riverside Drive early tomorrow morning.
Aberdeen City Council has warned the street is likely to flood at around 6am, with staff anticipating the need to close it to traffic.
A council spokeswoman said: “People who’ve parked vehicles on Riverside Drive by Bon Accord Glass are asked to move them as soon as possible as it is anticipated the street could have localised flooding at 6am tomorrow.
“Local businesses have been informed.
“It is likely we will be closing the road so please use an alternative route if possible.”
The stretch near Bon Accord Glass and Polmuir Road is prone to flooding after heavy rainfall.
