Aberdeen police issue safety message ahead of Europa League clash

Police in Aberdeen are urging Dons fans to enjoy tonights Europa League clash “safely and responsibly”.
Aberdeen FC will face Real Sociedad at a sold-out Pittodrie tonight having lost 2-0 to the La Liga side last week in Spain.
Chief Inspector Richard Craig, said: “As Aberdeen FC advances through the stages of the competition the excitement and anticipation from fans will be building.
“This is obviously the second meeting between Aberdeen FC and Real Sociedad and we would again encourage fans from both teams to enjoy what Aberdeen has to offer and to enjoy the match responsibly.
“We are working closely with both clubs and colleagues in Spain to ensure the event is enjoyable for all those attending.
He added: “The last fixtures both home and away have overall been very successful and enjoyable events for all involved and we want that to continue.”
“We hope that all fans are well behaved and we hope that it will be a good experience for all involved.”
