Local media teams from Aberdeen have been preparing for the 20th annual Aberdeen Asset Management university boat race.
Journalists from Original 106 and the BBC will be taking to the water in the hope of defeating last year’s champions the Evening Express.
The rowers have been training regularly, and have been receiving tips and advice from the teams at Robert Gordon University and Aberdeen University.
The long-running boat race has been won for the past three years by RGU’s team, but Aberdeen has won most races overall in the 19-year history of the challenge.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday March 21, starting at the Bridge of Dee and ending at the Aberdeen Boat Club.
