Police have launched an investigation after a body was found on an Aberdeen road in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were called to Aberdeen’s Foresterhill Road at three AM after a dead man was discovered.
Police have confirmed they are treating his death as “unexplained.”
The man who has still not been identified is believed to be in his 50s.
Foresterhill Road remains closed between Anderson Drive and Ashgrove Road West and police have set up a cordon around Old Croft Place and Ashgrove gardens.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We can confirm we are investigating an unexplained death in Foresterhill Road, Aberdeen.
“No further details are available.”
