Police have been called to the mouth of the River Don after a body was found.
A police spokesperson confirmed that officers were called to Donmouth Road, in Bridge of Don, just after 8:25am where the grim discovery was made.
The spokesperson added: “Police are carrying out inquiries after reports of a body at the mouth of the River Don.
“Inquiries are at an early stage and there are no further details at this time.”
A man who did not wished to be named contacted the Press and Journal to say: “I was driving from Beach boulevard direction just there and there’s Police on the Don Estuary standing next to what looks to me like a body.”
Meanwhile, another body was discovered in the early hours of this morning on Aberdeen’s Foresterhill Road.
