Storm Frank: A93 completely collapses into River Dee

A section of the A93 near Crathie has collapsed.

The A93 Ballater to Braemar road at Micras has been closed after the collapse, caused by the pressure of the River Dee.

Aberdeenshire Council and police have confirmed the closure.

It comes after police announced the Maryculter Bridge has also been shut due to rising water levels on the River Dee.
