Harry’s first official visit to the north-east may have attracted crowds of screaming fans but there was only one visitor who left a royal impression on the Prince.
Harry had been visiting Robert Gordon University as part of a series of engagements to help promote sport and mentoring schemes in the north-east when he was interrupted by a very impatient spectator.
The Prince delighted one smiling pet owner when he interrupted a sports game with local children to attend to her barking dog, giving it a good scratch behind the ear.
Fellow onlookers can be heard laughing as Harry approaches the pooch, asking what it is barking at before saying, “No, I don’t speak spaniel.”
The Prince will be making a number of visits throughout the north-east as part of his first official visit to the region. His next stop is Adventure Sports Centre at Aberdeen Beach later today.
