The doors of Garioch Heritage Centre in Inverurie will reopen to visitors next Saturday following months of closure.
Spokeswoman for the Aberdeenshire attraction, Gillian Pettigrew, said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone you rallied round and supported the centre financially when it was closed, and to everyone who came along to help us when we were flooded in July.”
It will then open from 11am to 3pm, Thursday to Saturday.
Changes at the Loco Works Road centre include the re-named Café Loco, opening under the management of Jane Blaekley, who owned Perrie Pantry in Kintore, and the opening of a new exhibition commemorating 75 years since the end of the Second World War.
The temporary exhibition is an evolving display and anyone wishing to contribute should contact the centre on 01467 621855 or email info@gariochheritage.co.uk.
