An Aberdeenshire woman threatened a man and said she would get her friends who were London gang members involved.
Jane Whyte, known as Jane Edwards, sent messages to Wayne Florence asking for the address of James Brooks and stated she wanted to harm him.
She said she would not hurt Mr Florence so long as he provided the address.
The messages also included an array of allegations against Mr Brooks which she had posted on Facebook.
Edwards, of Kellands Road, Inverurie, pleaded guilty at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday to sending Facebook messages and posts that were abusive, offensive and threatening.
The 40-year-old claimed to have friends who were London gang members and said they wouldn’t mess around or hesitate to “blow through” his door.
Although defence agent Stuart Flowerdew said they were “empty threats” caused by alcohol consumption, the court heard they caused Mr Brooks to suffer fear and alarm.
Sheriff Ian Wallace ordered Edwards to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work.
