Firefighters tackle caravan blaze

Fire crews were called out to Oldmeldrum this morning after a caravan and shed caught fire.

Firefighters from Ellon and Inverurie worked for about 90 minutes to tackle the flames.

The fire was extinguished at about 8.20am.

The crews remain at the scene, dampening down and checking for hotspots.

Nobody had to be evacuated due to the drama.
