On the shores of Newburgh some seals took the beach to enjoy the beginning of summer weather in style. The north-east was the hottest place in the country yesterday with temperatures as high as 20C in the region. It has been a little cooler today at around 15C, but that was still enough for the seals to sunbathe on the Newburgh sands. Dozens gathered where the tide would normally come in and sat still to enjoy the sunshine. Isn’t this the life?
