The first images of a new £13million Aberdeenshire primary school have been revealed.
Hillside Primary School, in Portlethen, will have the capacity for 350 children and includes two grass football pitches and another all-weather, floodlit pitch.
The school is set to open in August 2016 and will be the third in the town in addition to Portlethen Primary and Fishermoss School.
The new 13-classroom school will be built off of Causey Mounth road and includes a nursery, a nature garden and a car park with 75 spaces.
Aberdeenshire Council lodged the plans for the building last year.
