The British Telecom van had no one in it when it went alight. One fire engine from Ballater attended the scene on Hawthorn place after receiving the call at 9:21am. Teams used a hose reel jet, two breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera. There were no reports of injuries. Burnt out BT van on Hawthorn Crescent, Ballater.<br />Pictures by KENNY ELRICK
