A north-east thug has admitted goading her Staffordshire Bull Terrier into permanently disfiguring a woman during a drunken fight in Peterhead.
Vickilee Galloway’s pet Jake savagely assaulted Stacey Ann Findlay at a flat in Leask Avenue after a row broke out over Miss Findlay’s name.
During the course of the argument between the two women Galloway shouted at her dog “get her Jake” before the animal launched its brutal attack.
The dog bite Miss Findlay on the arm causing her to fall to the ground.
It then continued to attack her as she lay on the floor, ripping half of one of her ears clean off and biting at the other one.
Miss Findlay was then able to run away from the flat before the dog, who was then dangerously out of control, started to attack pensioner Brian Pennie.
The 68-year-old had a chunk of muscle bitten out of his neck and part of one of his ears ripped off before Galloway, 36, eventually managed to pull the dog away.
This morning Galloway, who has previous convictions for assault and police assault, appeared at the High Court in Aberdeen and admitted inciting her pet to attack Miss Findlay, leaving her severely injured and permanently disfigured.
She also admitted being in charge of a dog who was dangerously out of control when Jake attacked Mr Pennie, who has since died due to an unrelated condition.
The court heard Jake had since been cared for at a facility in Cruden Bay and had not caused any trouble since the incident on February 17 last year.
The Crown has moved to have him destroyed.
Judge Lord Kinclaven told Galloway the offences she had admitted were serious and he remanded her in custody for background reports to be carried out.
She will return to court to be sentenced next month. Consideration of destruction of the dog as also been deferred until then.
