A convicted sex offender from Moray has admitted sending a string of offensive remarks to women over social media.
Kevin Duncan sexually assaulted a sleeping woman after climbing into bed with her, and was last year sentenced to 225 hours of unpaid work.
But yesterday the 22-year-old returned to Elgin Sheriff Court, after contacting the two women on Facebook and subjecting them to lewd advances.
Duncan, of Larchwood, Deskford, near Buckie, admitted sending “sexual written communication” to the women – both of whom are in their early 20s.
He bombarded one woman with the unwanted messages for two years, from February 16, 2014.
He also targeted another woman between February 21 and 22 this year.
He sent the messages from various addresses in Buckie, Lossiemouth and Culloden.
Fiscal Alison Wylie said Duncan became friends with the first victim on Facebook.
The fiscal said: “She got the impression that he quite liked her, but things turned more sinister.
“There were three occasions where what he said was clearly inappropriate.”
The fiscal said Duncan mentioned a desire to join her in bed, and sent her an image of his naked upper torso.
In later messages, he told her he would “do anything ” to be with her, and made crude references to a part of his body.
After being repeatedly rebuffed, Duncan asked the woman if she was gay.
Ms Wylie said that he then contacted the second woman at about 11pm on February 21.
She said: “He asked if she wanted to see a picture of him, and she declined.
“But a short time later, he sent a message of his naked torso and asked ‘want any of my body?'”
The court heard that Duncan followed that by making a series of obscene remarks.
The two women, who knew each other, later shared their experiences and decided to report Duncan to the police.
Defence agent Brent Lockie said his client had been of good behaviour since the offences came to light.
But he added: “This is inappropriate, and not how one seeks to court a lady.”
Sentence was deferred on Duncan until next month for the preparation of reports.
